The Projector is a fully cooperative campaign game of adventure, exploration, loss, and hope. Combining a roguelite d20 skill system with deckbuilding, The Projector propels you and up to three friends to over 20 different story-driven worlds, each with its own rules, layouts, objectives, obstacles, and puzzles. As you choose your way through eight interweaving story threads, the game remembers your choices and experiences through persistent changes to the dozens of card decks that make up the game.
There are over 40 abilities to learn and improve, allowing you to create your own builds to match your favored play styles. Hone your movement and observation skills to stealthily scout what's ahead, or perhaps you'd rather learn how to make the dozens of craftable items that shift the odds dramatically? Maybe you're more of a traditional tank, or perhaps more interested in supporting everyone else through buffs and last-second heroic help? Or perhaps you'd like to control time itself? You can be a jack-of-all-trades, a focused specialist, or anything in-between. Pick several, because different worlds require different builds!
The Projector includes over 2000 unique cards that form dozens of decks for areas, items, baddies, resources, entropy, stories and more!
The Projector is intended for 2-4 players ages 12 and up. Play sessions take between 45 and 120 minutes, and setup & teardown are under 10 minutes each.
